Themes Manager

Purpose

Manage and customize your store's visual theme and appearance. Switch between theme templates and customize the storefront design.

Accessing Themes Manager

Navigate to: Design > Themes Manager from the sidebar

Themes Manager

The Themes Manager page displays your current template status and options to customize your store's appearance.

Current Theme Status

The Themes Manager displays your currently active theme template:

  • Current Template: Shows which template is active (e.g., "Static Template" or "Dynamic Template")
  • Status Badge: Visual indicator of template status
  • Template Info: Details about the active template

Template Types

Your store supports two template types:

Static Template

  • Pre-built theme with fixed design
  • Limited customization options
  • Faster performance
  • Pre-configured layouts

Dynamic Template

  • Customizable page builder interface
  • Full design control with drag-and-drop
  • Access to advanced theme customization
  • Custom pages and layouts

Switching Templates

If currently using the Static Template, you can upgrade to the Dynamic Template for more customization options.

To Switch to Dynamic Template:

  1. Click the "Switch to Dynamic Template" button
  2. Review the template requirements
  3. Confirm the switch
  4. You will be redirected to the Page Builder for customization

Template Requirements:

  • Ensure you have backup of current data before switching
  • Some customizations may need to be reapplied
  • Dynamic template offers more flexibility

Click the Browse Theme Gallery button (top right, green button) to:

  • View available themes and templates
  • Preview theme designs
  • Install new themes
  • Explore theme customization options

Customization Options

Depending on your current template:

Static Template Customization:

  • Limited to predefined color schemes
  • Configurable fonts and basic styles
  • Logo and branding elements
  • Navigation structure

Dynamic Template Customization:

  • Full page building with drag-and-drop
  • Custom sections and layouts
  • Advanced styling options
  • Template variations
  • Widget management

Page Builder Access

Once using the Dynamic Template, access the full customization options:

  • Page Builder: Drag-and-drop interface for design customization
  • Section Manager: Add, edit, and arrange page sections
  • Widget Library: Access available design components
  • Template Settings: Global design preferences

Available Page Builder Components

The Dynamic Template includes various components for building your store pages:

Content Components:

  • Button: Call-to-action buttons with customizable text, links, colors, and sizes
  • Video: Embed videos with customizable controls, autoplay, and aspect ratios
  • Marquee: Scrolling text or content display with animation controls
  • Countdown Timer: Display promotional countdowns for sales and offers

Product & Category Display:

  • Products Grid: Display product listings with filters and search
  • Products Slider: Carousel display of products
  • Categories Slider: Sliding category navigation with images

Layout & Design:

  • Feature Card: Highlight store features with icons, titles, and descriptions
  • Header Options: Standard or alternate header layouts with customization
  • Slider Items: Banner/hero slider for promotions

Social & Reviews:

  • Reviews Marquee: Scrolling customer testimonials with ratings
  • Social Links: Display social media links with icons

Note: Components are added and configured through the page builder's drag-and-drop interface. Each component has its own set of customization options for appearance, content, and behavior.

Key Information

  • Super Admin Only: Only administrators can manage themes
  • Active Template: Shows currently selected template
  • Template Gallery: Browse and preview available themes
  • Dynamic Benefits: More customization with page builder
  • Backup Recommended: Create backup before major template changes
  • Real-Time Updates: Theme changes apply immediately to storefront
