OneSignal Notification

Purpose

Send push notifications to customers through OneSignal integration. Notify all customers or targeted user groups about promotions, updates, and important messages.

Accessing OneSignal Notification

Navigate to: Marketing & Content > OneSignal Notification from the sidebar

List View

OneSignal Notification List

The list displays all push notifications sent or scheduled through OneSignal.

Table Columns

Created At / Updated At

  • Format: Timestamp (toggleable visibility)
  • Purpose: When notification was created/modified

Title

  • Format: Text
  • Purpose: Push notification title displayed to customers

Recipient Type

  • Format: Text ("All Users" or "Specific Users")
  • Purpose: Who received this notification

Status

  • Format: Text
  • Purpose: Delivery status or current state

Row Actions

  • View: See notification details and delivery statistics
  • Delete: Remove notification record

Bulk Actions

  • Delete: Remove multiple notifications
  • Export: Export notification data to Excel/CSV

Sending a Notification

Click "New OneSignal Notification" to send a new push notification.

Form Fields

Title Required

  • Type: Text input (max 255 characters)
  • Purpose: Push notification headline
  • Examples: "New Products Available", "Special Sale Today", "Order Update"

Message Required

  • Type: Text area (full width)
  • Purpose: Complete push notification content
  • Note: Keep concise for mobile displays
  • Examples: "Check out our latest summer collection", "Your order has shipped"

Recipient Type Required

  • Type: Dropdown (reactive)
  • Options:
  • "All Users" - Send to all customers
  • "Specific Users" - Send to selected customers
  • Default: "All Users"

Users Conditional

  • Type: Multi-select dropdown
  • Visibility: Only shown when Recipient Type = "Specific Users"
  • Purpose: Select which customers receive this notification
  • Options: All registered customers (preloaded)

Create OneSignal Notification

Notification Data Optional

  • Type: Key-Value component
  • Purpose: Custom data pairs sent with notification
  • Example Uses:
  • Target URL or deep link
  • Campaign ID or tracking code
  • Custom metadata

Sending Actions

  • Create: Send/schedule notification immediately
  • Cancel: Discard without sending

Viewing Notification Details

Click View on any notification to see:

Notification Details Page

  • Title: Notification headline
  • Message: Complete message content
  • Recipient Type: Who was targeted
  • Recipients: List of users if specifically targeted
  • Creation Date: When notification was sent

View Statistics

Click View Statistics button (chart bar icon) to see OneSignal delivery metrics:

Statistics Displayed:

  • Delivery status
  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Impressions
  • Recipient count
  • Engagement metrics

Key Information

  • OneSignal Integration: Requires OneSignal service configured
  • Push Delivery: Sent to customers with push notifications enabled
  • Immediate Sending: Notifications sent immediately upon creation
  • All Users: Default option sends to all registered customers
  • Targeted Send: Select specific users for targeted campaigns
  • Custom Data: Add custom key-value pairs for app tracking
  • Delivery Stats: View OneSignal statistics for each notification
  • Audit Trail: All notifications recorded with send date/time

  • Users - Target specific customer groups
  • Orders - Notify customers about order updates
