Product Contacts

Purpose

Manage contact information for products and vendors. Store phone, WhatsApp, and email contacts for customers to reach product sellers or support teams.

Accessing Product Contacts

Navigate to: Delivery & Payments > Product Contacts from the sidebar

List View

Product Contacts List

The list displays all stored product contact information with associated users.

Table Columns

User Name

  • Format: Text
  • Purpose: Name of the user/vendor who owns this contact information

Phone

  • Format: Text (phone number)
  • Purpose: Telephone number for contacting the vendor

WhatsApp

  • Format: Text (phone number)
  • Purpose: WhatsApp number for customer messaging

Email

  • Format: Text (email address)
  • Purpose: Email address for inquiries

Default Contact

  • Format: Icon toggle (checkmark = yes, blank = no)
  • Purpose: Whether this is the primary contact method for this user

Row Actions

  • Edit: Modify contact information
  • Delete: Remove contact record

Bulk Actions

  • Delete: Remove multiple contacts
  • Export: Export contact data to Excel/CSV

Creating a Product Contact

Create Product Contact

Click "New Product Contact" to add a contact for a vendor or product.

Form Fields

User Required Super Admin Only

  • Type: Searchable dropdown
  • Purpose: Select which user/vendor this contact belongs to
  • Note: Vendors only see their own contacts; super admin can add contacts for any user

Phone Optional

  • Type: Telephone input field
  • Purpose: Vendor's phone number
  • Format: Accepts standard phone number formats

WhatsApp Optional

  • Type: Text input
  • Purpose: WhatsApp number for direct messaging
  • Note: Usually same as phone or alternate mobile number

Email Optional

  • Type: Email input field
  • Purpose: Vendor's email address
  • Format: Must be valid email format

Is Default Required

  • Type: Toggle switch (On/Off)
  • Purpose: Mark as the primary contact method
  • Behavior: System ensures only one default contact per user
  • When On: This becomes the contact shown to customers by default

Validation

  • Required: At least one contact method (phone, WhatsApp, or email) must be provided
  • Cannot have a contact with all fields empty

Create Actions

  • Create: Save and return to list
  • Create & Create Another: Save and open blank form for next entry
  • Cancel: Discard changes

Editing a Product Contact

Click the Edit icon to modify contact details.

Changes take effect immediately for future customer inquiries.


Key Information

  • Multiple Contacts: Vendors can have multiple contact records per user
  • Default Contact: Only one can be marked as default per user
  • Access Control: Vendors only see their own contacts; super admin sees all
  • Contact Methods: At least one method required (phone, WhatsApp, or email)
  • Customer Visibility: Default contact is shown to customers for inquiries
