Item Statuses¶
Purpose¶
Define product condition categories (e.g., New, Refurbished, Used) to differentiate products and pricing. Unlike Order Statuses, Item Statuses are fully customizable.
Accessing Item Statuses¶
Navigate to: System Settings > Item Statuses from the sidebar
List View¶
The list displays all product condition statuses you've created.

Table Columns¶
Name¶
- Format: Text (up to 50 characters)
- Purpose: Condition label displayed on products (translatable)
Values¶
- Format: Count (number)
- Purpose: Number of attribute values assigned to this status
Row Actions¶
- Edit: Modify status name or translations
- Delete: Remove status (use bulk actions)
Bulk Actions¶
- Delete: Remove multiple statuses
- Export: Export status data to Excel/CSV
Creating an Item Status¶
Click "New Item Status" to add a new condition category.

Form Fields¶
Name Required¶
- Type: Text input (max 50 characters)
- Purpose: Condition label displayed to customers
- Translatable: Yes - use Locale dropdown for other languages
- Examples:
- Electronics: "New", "Refurbished", "Used - Excellent", "For Parts"
- Fashion: "New with Tags", "Like New", "Gently Used", "Vintage"
- Furniture: "New in Box", "Floor Sample", "Gently Used", "Antique"
Create Actions¶
- Create: Save and return to list
- Create & Create Another: Save and open blank form for next entry
- Cancel: Discard changes
Editing an Item Status¶
Click the Edit icon to modify a status name or add translations.
Changes affect all products currently using this status immediately.
Key Information¶
- Fully Customizable: Create, edit, or delete statuses as needed
- Translatable: Provide condition names in multiple languages
- Product Assignment: Each product has one item status
- Searchable: Customers can filter by condition
- Pricing Impact: Used to justify different pricing for same product
- Examples of Use: Sell same item as "New" ($100), "Refurbished" ($75), "Used" ($50)
