Dashboard

Purpose

The Dashboard is your store's control center, providing an at-a-glance view of your business performance. When you log into the admin panel, this is the first screen you'll see, designed to give you immediate insights into sales, orders, inventory, and customer activity.

Accessing the Dashboard

  • Navigate to: Dashboard from the sidebar menu
  • Or click the My Store logo at the top of the sidebar to return to the dashboard at any time

The dashboard displays key performance metrics, recent orders, and quick access to important features.

Welcome Section

At the top of the dashboard, you'll see a personalized welcome banner displaying your name. This confirms you're logged in and shows which account is currently active.

Key Performance Metrics

The dashboard displays several important metrics organized into cards:

Sales & Revenue Metrics

Total Revenue - Shows the total revenue from completed orders - Only counts orders that have been successfully delivered - Displayed in your store's default currency - Use this metric to track your overall sales performance

Delivered Orders - Total number of orders that have been successfully delivered to customers - Indicates successful order fulfillment - Track this to measure your delivery success rate

New Orders - Number of new orders awaiting processing - These are orders that need immediate attention - Click on the "New Orders" card for quick access to process pending orders

Average Order Value - Calculated from all delivered orders - Shows how much customers typically spend per order - Use this to track purchasing trends and set promotional strategies

Product & Catalog Metrics

Active Products - Total number of products currently available for purchase - Products must be approved and not disabled - Click to quickly access your product catalog

Categories - Total number of product categories in your store - Helps you understand your catalog organization - Useful for maintaining a well-structured product hierarchy

Wallet & Payment Metrics

Total Wallets - Number of customer wallets in the system - Shows active wallet count - Useful for tracking digital payment adoption

Total Balance - Combined balance across all customer wallets - Displayed in your default currency - Indicates total store credit held by customers

Total Transactions - Number of wallet transactions processed - Shows today's transaction count as well - Track payment activity and customer usage

Credits vs Debits - Net flow of wallet funds - Shows total money added (credits) vs spent (debits) - Helps monitor wallet cash flow

Latest Orders Table

The dashboard includes a real-time table showing your most recent orders:

Table Columns

  • Order ID: Unique identifier for the order
  • Date: When the order was placed
  • Customer: Customer name (if available) or phone number
  • Mobile: Customer contact number
  • Order Status: Current status (Draft, New, Accepted, In Delivery, Delivered, etc.)
  • Total: Order total amount
  • Paid: Whether payment has been received (Yes/No)
  • Action: Quick "View" button to see order details

Using the Orders Table

  • Search: Use the search box to find specific orders by customer name, phone, or order ID
  • Sorting: Click column headers to sort by Order ID, Date, or Total
  • Per Page: Adjust how many orders to display (5, 10, 25, 50, or All)
  • View Details: Click the "View" button to see complete order information

Top Customers Widget

This section highlights your most valuable customers:

  • Shows top 3 customers by total purchase amount
  • Displays customer name (or "No Customer Data" if no purchases yet)
  • Shows total revenue from each customer
  • Displays number of orders per customer
  • Helps identify your VIP customers for special attention

Quick Access Cards

At the bottom of the dashboard, you'll find quick access cards:

Orders Card - Title: "Orders" - Description: "Manage all your orders" - Click to go directly to the orders management page

Products Card - Title: "Products" - Description: "Manage your products" - Shows number of active products - Click to access your product catalog

Tips for Using the Dashboard

  1. Check Daily: Start your day by reviewing the dashboard to understand current business status
  2. Monitor New Orders: Pay attention to the "New Orders" count and process them promptly
  3. Track Revenue Trends: Compare daily revenue to identify patterns and opportunities
  4. Review Top Customers: Recognize and reward your most valuable customers
  5. Use Quick Actions: Leverage the quick access cards to navigate efficiently

Dashboard Refresh

The dashboard data updates automatically when you refresh the page or navigate back to it. For real-time updates, simply refresh your browser or click the "Dashboard" link in the sidebar.
